It's that time again!
For some of you older members, you know it's been a long time since our last server restart, and usually (As with any restart) new things and shinies are introduced to the players. So just what are they, this time around? Lemme give you a run down.
What's so great about this restart?
Well questioner, not only is 1.3 one of the most anticipated (And prolonged) patches in Minecraft, it also brings our admins plenty of opportunities to make new and exciting experiences for you, the player. Tombs, villager trading, tripwire, and completely new ways to construct your house are only bits and pieces of what we've got to offer you.
A Brand New Kingdom
Nope. I won't be shouting "Come to Fallorak!" every time a player logs into the game, this time around. When players first spawn into the world, they'll be landed smack dab in the palace of our brand new Kingdom, outfitted with crenelations and all. This is what the build team has been so fervently working on the past week, and maybe one of the most exciting things for us to show you, as admins. This city will be the central plaza where all players will come to trade, throw cookies in the arena at the blood-thirsty PvPers, and even live, should they have the cash.
Some of the current (Planned) features include:
What if I don't want to stay in the city?
Vanilla minecraft is open to anybody who chooses it. In fact, it's the proper way to go! The kingdom is only a hub for hanging out in, not a replacement to the game. Go out, explore, build - Do what you normally do. All you have to do is walk out the city gate.
Plugins
We will be adding and removing several plugins around the server. There are several worlds and plugins currently clogging up our files that we'll be happy to remove. Say goodbye to some of this lag!
New plugins will be added to make things far more convenient for the player.
Events
Although we'll obviously be keeping some of the old favorites (Chaser, Dodgespleef, Hungergames), we will definitely be cooking up some new events to give ya'll things to do on the weekends. But I'll leave that for the future. Couldn't slip the secret formula just yet.
A whooole new way of... Talking?
We've publicly added our mumble servers to the forum topic, and obviously, we've got this shiny new forum to let you better get messages from you to us, and from us to you.
Is that it? Probably not. But at 3:00 AM, my mind isn't the best to be recalling all of the new features we've got in store for you. So stick around! We'll be here.

Some of the current (Planned) features include:
- A library, jam-packed with player-written books and scenic views.
- A PvP arena visible to any passerby player.
- A big and grand palace, where the player will respawn
- A teleportation room. No more button warps. Any allowable location will now be accessed by a portal.
- Player owned shops and server owned shops. Players who were here before our restart know that our economy had its ups and downs. There was a server store with unsupervised prices, and an unofficially established player market in Fallorak. But with our new city, we'll be combining the best of all worlds. Server shops will be available throughout the town, and player property for shops will be sold when met with the necessary requirements.
- A banking and exchange system to safely trade dropped goods.
- A large port, used for arriving at distant player-established cities.
- Residences. Although the prices are a little steep in the sleepy kingdom of Axius, they're well worth it. Either in-game money or levels of donatorship can get your residency in the city.
- All in all, the kingdom will be a very well-organized and professionally built city, which players won't be afraid to relax and enjoy Minecraft in, while still enjoying the vanilla experience.
