I am proposing a little contest for those with the time to dedicate to a build in Creative. Unless there is something given to the winner from the staff, this is just for fun, prestige and maybe it will get used as an event!
[glow=red,2,300]Requirements:[/glow]
Entry Hub- This allows players to communicate in the event area without being murdered by some horrible thing. Also, if you have it implemented, players can also use this area to spend money they earn in the event and spend levels, make armor, ect.
Event Grounds- This is where the event itself takes place. Whether it be something out of Hunger Games, a zombie invasion or a Gladiator style arena, you need something to fit this criteria.
Watching Booth- Some people might not want to participate in the event and just watch for laughs and maybe even betting! Not a heavy score on you but it doesnt hurt to have one
Rule Area- Yes, you need to take time and fill out signs or even write a rule book. This area will also tell the players what kind of event the build supports, for if you build right, it can be used for many event types.
[glow=red,2,300]Scoring![/glow]
This is important for who is judging these, the judges will be the applicants themselves since I cant force admins to do it. You judge everyone's but your own to make it fair.
Each section is worth 5 points. There are 4 sections, giving a total of 20 points per Judge.
Practicality- How practical is the build in terms of the idea and the event itself.
Aesthetics- Does the build look like it fits with everything incorperated and does it look nice in general.
Design- Does the layout fit with the rest of the build?
Concept! -Was the idea behind the build unique and original?
[glow=red,2,300]DEADLINE![/glow]
OGAWD DIS BE IMPORTANTE!
Contest ends in two weeks. On August 26th, at 12pm MST (UTC -7 hours) I give this deadline this much time so people can build elaborate builds. Some people have started designs on large Survival Games maps so it will take some time to complete them. Its for the fairness of all
