Currently Active: Very!
Brief Overview:
The city of Sandshard is a busting area. We have a growing market that our residents will use to sell their goods, like buckets! Almost all house plots are free, large ones are marked with a price of $1000 or less. That is because you build it how you want (following the town restrictions though).
Features:
This city is based around the remnants of an old Villager town, hence the almost all sandstone construction. We do have a warp, two actually. One is from the small boat off of Sea Strider Point and the other is in the basement of Demonspire Manor. We have a fully functional market place. One area is for the Council run store. All funds made there go to the city for supplies. The player market is growing constantly, along with residential. Before too long, we will have a new Guild Hall for the Dark Architects and a new Chapel, in place of the old.
How Big is the City?
Well, currently, we have 17 players that live in the city. The Council: NKCazy, Request, Link1331, and Robiner. City members are Einlee, Effekwulsemmay, Unsocialman, Jbbubba, FlyingHedgeHog, Warriorbot, Jimmiefan, Tiltingwindmills, ANDY150466, Redemption15, Lord_Kriller, Nogardifer and Pokemon_Lover.
Where can I find this place!?
Well, if you run West of spawn for a long time (assuming you dont want to warp), you will reach out city. The coordinates are roughly X -100 Z +1600.
The History:
Shortly after the beginning of the new world, a small group of adventurers left the confines of Illumia's Landing. They set out and found a village in a desert. Soon, a town was formed in the confines of the town area. After a terrible incident regarding the former inhabitants, more people moved into the old homes left behind. The area thrived on new people and rapidly became a city. Expansion continues to this day and the Council makes decisions that better the City.

Sandshard, the lost jewel in the sands of time.
Banished Players:
Lakeland007-Grief and theft of several homes. Actions rolled back.
