I can't believe I have to scold Admins, but come on guys! Letting Guild Wars 2 make you stray from the server is no way to moderate. We have some guests waiting forever for their apps to be approved and some people are having problems that we need to dispute in court. But we have no judge. Now, I'm not "needy" or anything. I understand we're all human beings and we need breaks. We need to see and experience other things or it becomes a job and not a hobby. Or maybe you're busy as hell in school and just can't be as active as you used to be. I don't want you to think you need to be on 24/7. But, can we have at least 1 Mod or Admin on for about maybe 10 hours a week? I know I'm a random user and have no right to nag you guys, but I'd hate to see this server which is extremely active with it's community go to hell because the staff doesn't interact with us anymore. I might be missing some crucial details. And you might just be on when I'm not paying attention. But this is just my view. For all I know you guys have been hidden. (I don't think that's the case.) If you guys bother to read this, thank you for understanding. ;D And if possible a moderation schedule would be plausible.

I'll try and make this post quick, and try not to make it sound like some kinda dramatic rebuttal. Personally? Yeah. I'm a lot more distracted right now than I would have been a week or two ago. A new game that I've been waiting months, if not a year or two for, just came out. School just crept out of an alley and hit me with a crowbar. I've got homework, time I (legally) have to spend in a giant concrete box every day, and to tell you the truth, when I get home, I don't want to come back to the server and get a new load of flack flung at me from every direction by angry mobs of players. So when the time comes around that I get a break, such as the weekend, or a little after school, I like to blow off some steam, along with taking care of family business, chores, religious duties, and more homework. I can't speak for the other admins, but I still care a lot about this server. Keeping the community together and providing a good time for everyone is still one of my top priorities. I know a lot of us are still doing our parts to help out. Steven and Neon are constantly working with plugins to make them work better (Think Steven even picked up the coding know-how to make comfort work. ). Star and Epic are moderating players, like they always have. And I'm still trying to make up new events and keep the community interested. That being said, there's still a lot of work to be done by a shorthanded staff, and it's hard to find new moderators we really trust to be active and honest with us, while still knowing the ropes to being an OP. I could see why we'd be hesitant to hire any new mods after some of our previous OPs (I won't mention names) left/abused power/went stupid over little things. Each of the current admins and mods know eachother very well (At this point) in mumble. I won't make excuses for them, myself, but they're all young, just like me, and probably have more-so duties than I have. Saying all of this, I still feel like I'm making up excuses instead of reaching the heart of the problem, and I'll feel guilty any day one of us has "neglected" the server. I'm glad you guys are trying to kick us in the shin and get us involved more. But sometimes, it takes time for things to settle out. So what's the solution? Well, you both have already suggested a few pretty decent ideas. All of us are on a relatively close school schedule (Mind Steven), and I'm not sure how well moderation shifts would function. We tend to zerg in, when the server's hopping. At the moment, my only solution would be to get more players involved in these proboards. Getting yelled at is exactly what's needed a lot of the time for things to happen. Ideas are what we need to get the server going, and we'd be happy to receive some of them. We're people. We do have lives. And yes, there is a point where something becomes a job (Or obsession) rather than a playful pass-time. We're well past that point, but we know we should continue to make this server all it can be. Thanks for getting to us. - Knight

Thanks for the feedback Knight. I like to see an someone steeping up to receive my rants and raves and now I completely understand your situation. =) (Thus I am less inclined to yell at you and whip my old man cane right-round*I will still do so.*)
